Our History
Founded in 2011 by Mahmud B. Tukur, an entrepreneur and award-winning Business Leader with almost Three decades of experience in the Oil & Gas, Maritime, Infrastructure, Real Estate and Technology Sectors.
The Ashgrove Group is comprised of four operating companies, namely: Ashgrove Energy Limited , Ashgrove Exploration & Production Limited and Ashgrove Petroleum Limited which operate within the Oil & Gas Value Chain, whilst Ashgrove Investments Limited invests across a diverse range of sectors.
The Group structure was created as a result of common shareholding between the 4 companies and in order to leverage the natural synergies that exist between the companies.
Ashgrove Group is Head Quartered in Lagos, Nigeria and operates a regional office in Abuja, with plans to expand to Warri in 2024.
The Group has ambitions to grow within the African Continent, and we are well positioned to leverage on our experience within the Nigerian and West African markets to act as a springboard for expansion across the African Continent.
